Seeing Stars by J. Sterling

seeing stars

I always have a hard time deciding which book to read next when I finish one. It can take me a few hours to a few days to decide what I’m really in the mood to read. This time I decided to be different! I gave my husband my to read booklist and he chose it for me (It pretty much came down to what cover he thought looked the most interesting). He actually chose the second book to this series, but you have to start from the beginning 😉

It’s a rockstar romance novella that was written in March of 2014.

My Review

This was a pretty cute book. It was definitely one of those books where you knew none of what happened could ever happen in real life, but it made for a quick entertaining read.

Walker Rhodes is the cliché hot bad boy rocker and seems to be the manwhore that the tabloids make him out to be. He spots Madison during one of his concerts, and pulls her up on stage and sings to her.

Madison is an assistant to a talent agent in LA. Her best friend drags her to the Walker Rhodes concert and that’s where she meets Walker. She doesn’t like him at first, but then he grows on her and she pretty much falls in insta-love with him after a day.

Enter the plot twist, which was pretty cute and why I liked the book so much. I won’t give anything away.

All in all this was a good book if you want to read a quick romance with not much to think about. No big issues to work through or deal with. I like my romances with a little more meat to the story and more character development.

My Rating: 3.5 stars enjoyable but forgettable
