Screw him and his perfect stats.
Lincoln Landry probably even has game-winning stamina.
I’d like to screw her and her perfect ass.
Danielle Ashley probably even has a game-changing personality.
There’s no denying the chemistry between them. It’s so fiery, it’s undeniable. They partake in it. Enjoy it.
They really enjoy it.
Attraction is not a problem. Nor is their banter, relationship status, or habits. That’s all fine. Perfect, actually.
The problem is as tangled up as their sheets.
After reading Sway I was excited to see where Adriana Locke would take Lincoln, and I am pleased to say I absolutely loved his story!
I’ll use a baseball reference from one of my favorite movies to sum up this story 😉 (Since all of Linc’s life lessons are made by baseball references.)
“Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.”
Dani has grown up in a family that has pretty much abandoned her and she’s doesn’t want to rely on anyone because she’s afraid of being left behind like her parents did. Linc is afraid of how his shoulder injury is going to affect his career in baseball. The game is all he knows and he doesn’t know who he is without it, until he finds Dani.
I really loved this story. Linc was hilarious, and Dani was really sweet and caring. She was so emotionally scarred from what her parents had done to her that she was afraid of letting anyone in, but Linc weaseled his way into her heart anyways. It was nice to see Linc go from a funny non serious guy with no worries from Sway into the guy he became in Swing. Their story was heartwarming and the scenes with the whole family at the farm were my favorite.
I can’t wait for more books about the Landry family!
